Kikukawa Eizan designed ukiyo-e woodblock prints in Japan. He learned first from his father, Eiji, a minor painter of the Kanō school, and then from Suzuki Nanrei of the Shijō school; he may also have studied with Totoya Hokkei. In the 1830s he produced many prints of beautiful women, before turning to painting instead.
