This etching by André Paul Borel dates from 1878 and takes its title from L'Estaque, a suburb of Marseilles in Provence. The area's hilly terrain appealed to a number of artists, among them Paul Cezanne, Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. Borel's work is a French print of the 19th century, made using the etching technique. It is now part of the Cleveland Museum of Art's collection of prints.
On your wall: A finely drawn landscape print like this suits studies, hallways and quiet living spaces, particularly where a considered, understated piece is wanted.
