Lyubov Popova was a Russian-Soviet avant-garde artist, painter and designer. This work from 1920 is titled Composition (Blue-Yellow-Black), which points to a restrained palette of three colours arranged as an abstract composition rather than a scene from life. It belongs to the group of Popova's paintings held at the Museu Coleção Berardo.
On your wall: Its blue, yellow and black palette suits modern living rooms, studies and offices, particularly where plain walls and clean lines let an abstract piece stand out.
