No VAT charged. Free delivery in Switzerland from CHF 99. Delivery details
Julius Klinger made this poster in 1910 for the Herbstflugwoche Johannisthal, an autumn flying week. As the title suggests, it was designed to announce an aviation event, a job that suited a commercial graphic artist. Klinger was an Austrian painter, draftsman, illustrator and typographer who also wrote, and he trained at the Technologisches Gewerbemuseum HTL in Vienna. His background in both image and lettering is the kind of grounding that poster design calls for. It is a good piece for anyone who enjoys early twentieth-century advertising graphics.
On your wall: It suits a study, hallway, living room or office where vintage posters and early twentieth-century graphic design are welcome.
