This lithographic poster advertises Absinthe Robette in the flowing manner of Art Nouveau. A red-haired woman in a translucent white gown raises a glass of absinthe, her pale dress standing out against a deep green background. Smoke-like swirls drift around her, giving the scene a soft, dreamlike movement. The artist's signature appears on the sheet. Henri Privat-Livemont was a Belgian Art Nouveau decorator and Symbolist painter, and the poster's graceful figure and decorative curves reflect that background.
On your wall: The rich greens and the warm red of her hair suit a dining room, a study, a bar corner or any space with a vintage, characterful feel.
