This is an exhibition poster designed by Burkhard Mangold in 1912 in Basel. Its title announces a historical exhibition of applied arts, the Kunstgewerbe, with objects from Basel. The show was held at the Kunsthalle Basel. The poster belongs to the tradition of early twentieth-century Swiss exhibition posters, in which lettering and design work together to draw the public in. The Wassermann AG name is also linked to the poster.
